COVID-19 Updates

7th August 2021

Following yesterday’s MOH update, we are cautiously optimistic that we will be able to open again soon! The format and guidelines for our class nights will be similar to that from our events in March and April 2021:

  1. Max of 6 pax, pre-registration and pre-payment required to secure your slot. We will also prioritise gender balance to ensure a beneficial class for all. Contact us at dance@cerocsingapore.com to indicate your interest now!
  2. All attendees to be fully vaccinated (i.e. both jabs done + 14days).
  3. Masks to be worn at all times.
  4. The format of the night will start with a 30 mins technique session followed by a 45 mins moves session, and will be pegged at the level based on the attendees present. We will finish with a 45 mins freestyle practice.
  5. In order for us to cover costs during this period, we will temporarily have to charge a higher fee at:
  • $30/class for a commitment of 4 weeks
  • $35/class for weekly rate
Committing to 4 weeks allows us to negotiate for a better long-term hire rate with the space, which translates to cost savings for everyone!

In the meantime, we hope you have been enjoying the dance classes from Ceroc teachers around the world on https://www.ceroc.com/103/dance-in-your-pants.

21st March 2020

While we are closed, we would still like to give you your dance fix…and so Ceroc HQ has set up the “Dance In Your Pants” initiative to help you keep dancing in the comfort of your own home!

You will get daily videos of dance classes from Ceroc teachers that showcase different styles, both partnered and solo! Give it a go at: https://www.ceroc.com/103/dance-in-your-pants

20th March 2020

Ceroc Singapore events are now suspended until further notice.

It is an action that we have been considering for the past month and today’s update from the Ministry of Health has reinforced this sad decision.

We will miss you all very much, please stay safe and look after one another! Keep dancing at home and we will let you know when we can see you on the dance floor again <3

16th March 2020

We would like to assure everyone that we are doing our best to look after the safety of our dancers and crew, and help avoid spreading the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in our community. We are keeping a close eye on the situation, and if necessary, will suspend classes and/or freestyle nights. For now, please look out for one another. We request that standards of personal hygiene and awareness remain at their highest!

OUR ADVICE IS...

1. IF YOU FEEL UNWELL, PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND CLASS! Please consult a doctor and rest at home. Do drink lots of water and we wish you a speedy recovery!

2. If you have been overseas or been in contact with someone who has been under Quarantine, on Stay-Home Notice or Leave Of Absence within the last 14 days, please refrain from attending Ceroc events.^

3. We will be taking your temperature when you check-in at the door. If you have a temperature of 37.8 degrees Celcius or higher, you will be requested to leave the event and see a doctor. Please rest at home until you have recovered.

4. Please wash your hands with soap upon arrival at the venue, throughout the evening and before you leave the venue! Hand sanitiser gels and disinfectant sprays are also available for your use.

5. If possible, clean your hands after every dance. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands. Catch coughs and sneezes with disposable tissues, throw them away and wash your hands.

6. We will need you to complete a declaration form and records will be retained for contact tracing purposes, should the need arise. Please do check-in at the door when you arrive (after washing your hands with soap). If you are bringing any guests who are not Ceroc members, please help to ask them to leave their contact details with us.

THANK YOU for being vigilant and considerate!

^Amended on 18th March 2020 from: If you have been to, transited through or been in contact with someone who has been in one of the countries listed as a current concern, or who has been quarantined within the last 14 days, please refrain from attending Ceroc events.
